Convenience and privacy
Connie is parked on a flat grassed area with the Showman’s Wagon, closer to the farmhouse but well screened by trees and a good distance away from the Showman’s. It’s not overlooked as the windows and doors face away from the house and Showman’s.
Parking is available next to Connie, ground conditions permitting.
The toilets and showers are about 50 metres away.

A perfect compact retreat
Windows at each end and a split door allow light and air into this lovely custom built interior.
A wood burning stove heats the space during the colder months, when we provide the fuel for the first night of your stay. Additional fuel is available to purchase.
A fire pit or BBQ can be rented for use on the lawn.

Kitchen area
The kitchen has a single ring gas hob, and is equipped with a kettle, a small selection of pans, crockery, cutlery and utensils as well as condiments (and oil on request). Tea, coffee and sugar are also provided.
You also have use of the larger shared kitchen further down the garden which has a fridge.
If you prefer to eat out, we have two pubs within a 15-20 minute walk and many other options a short drive away.

Where you'll sleep
The sleeping area is at the back of the unit and has a firm foam double mattress. Bedding is provided, with extra covers for the colder months.

There is no mains water at the hut but we provide refillable water bottles for drinking, and a storage tank with water for washing up.
There are a few books for guests to enjoy and a Bluetooth speaker.
The toilets and showers are less than a minute’s walk from the wagon.
Outdoor furniture is provided with some solar exterior lighting.

Around the farm
We have a large field at the top of the farm with views over the surrounding area. All our guests are free to roam this field for most of the year. A public footpath runs through the farm with the Grand Union Canal (and a canalside pub) at one end and Rushmere Country Park at the other.
Some areas of the farm are off limits to visitors - we will point these out when you arrive.
