Booking Terms & Conditions
Please ensure that you read and understand these Terms before you book a stay with us.
By making a booking you are deemed to have accepted all of these Terms.
Bookings that breach our Terms can be cancelled at any time by the site owners.
Rights to Stay
No pets
You must have a booking to stay with us. No admission for guests/tents/vehicles not paid for at time of booking, including tents for children & awnings
Glamping units are adults-only
Camping bookings must include an adult - we do not host unaccompanied under 18s unless arranged in advance and guaranteed with a “behaviour bond”. Please contact us for more details.
Please book the correct pitch type: if we are showing no available campervan pitches it’s likely we have no further spaces suitable for a campervan (our site is on a slope)
No visitors. If you admit guests without permission they - and you - will be asked to leave
Pitch limits:
We have strict limits on the number of pitches we can operate and on guest numbers. If you turn up without a booking - or with more tents/guests than you have booked for - we reserve the right to refuse admission and/or cancel your booking. Please book the correct pitch type.
Each pitch booked includes
Up to TWO guests
ONE tent or campervan
ONE vehicle
Any additions are subject to additional fees. We will always try to accommodate additions after you book, but NOT on arrival day.
You could be turned away on arrival if your party takes us over our limits as we cannot jeopardise our site licence.
Amenity tents and tents for children: if you are bringing any tents for children or for cooking/seating these must be included in your booking as they count towards our site limit. Additional tents brought for sleeping accommodation incur a per-night charge in addition to the per-person nightly charge for camping.

Check in: 1-8pm for Campers, 3-8pm for Glampers
Check out: 11am for all guests

Certain areas of the farm - including the main farmyard - are out of bounds for privacy or safety reasons. We ask our guests to respect these boundaries and we provide details ahead of your arrival as well as some signage. Hazards include open water, barbed wire, farm machinery and farm animals.
Do not enter any fields with livestock, and do not feed any of the animals.
Hand washing: as a farm campsite with livestock and a wide variety of wildlife on site, we advise regular handwashing especially for our younger guests.
Accommodation units: Do not enter any accommodation unit that is not yours, even if it is unlocked. This includes any on-site holiday accommodation that might be vacant during your stay. Do not take or use any items from other on-site accommodation.
Personal safety and property: Please take steps to secure your personal property. The owners will not be held responsible for loss or damage to guest personal property by fire, theft or weather. Nor will we be held responsible for injury to persons whilst on site.
Children: There are many hazards around the farm - natural and man-made! Children must be under adult supervision at all times for their own safety and to protect the habitat. We ask that children are not allowed to roam around the farm or cause damage to any property, including trees and plants. If your children are interested in meeting any of the animals or seeing machinery, we will happily try to make this happen.
Trees: Our campers parking area is in the vicinity of a tree line. There have been no incidents of damage caused by falling trees or branches, however cars are parked the sole risk of the owner. We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by falling trees or tree parts. The same applies for tents and camper vans parked near trees, so in case of strong winds we will advise you not to pitch up near trees.
Overhead cables: There are power cables running across the farm, and fibre optic lines too. Therefore kites and drones are not permitted on site. -
Visitors: only with prior permission from site owners. Do NOT give out the gate code to anybody not in your party.
Vehicle movements: No movement on/off the property between 10pm and 7am
Music and Noise: Please do not play loud music at any time; please keep all noise to a minimum after 10.00pm if you are sharing the site with other campersNo ball games
Shared facilities: Toilets and showers are cleaned regularly but we ask that guests leave the facilities in a respectable state for others
Unruly guests will be asked to leave -
If bringing your own - these must be raised off the ground and you are responsible for taking away the ashes and embers with you. Do not dump the ashes/embers on the grass or in the bins. The fields are used to graze our livestock.
No disposable BBQs allowed.
If you are renting a BBQ or fire pit from us, we will take care of the disposal.
Do not leave any fire unattended, burning overnight or after departure. -
Glampers: bins and bags are provided in your unit and disposal is included in your holiday price
Campers: wherever possible we ask campers to remove their own waste. Otherwise, general waste and recycling must be disposed of sensibly in the bins provided. Please do not dispose of camping equipment (tents, chairs, mats, etc.) in the bins - take this away with you.
No nappies to be disposed of on site.
Recycling: We operate mixed recycling so please put recyclable items into the marked bin provided. Please do not put food waste into the recycling bin - this renders the rest of the materials unrecyclable
Ash and embers: For the protection of the farm habitat please do not tip ashes or embers onto the grass or into hedgerows. These must not go into the Waste or Recycling bins either. If you are renting a fire pit or BBQ from us, we will dispose of the waste for you - please ask.
Waste water: There is no chemical disposal point on site so if bringing a chemical toilet you must take your waste with you
Limited by nature
For just a few months a year, we open up a few of our grazing fields so campers can enjoy getting back to nature and enjoying more of the open countryside.
We’re a farm first so might not have all the sophistication of a dedicated campsite, however we do have plenty of space so campers can spread out and explore over many acres. During some of the year you could be sharing the field with our sheep.

Farm camping
Enjoy raw beauty and open spaces. See and hear sheep and cows in nearby fields. Watch birds of prey circle overhead, or the wild birds on the pond. On a sunny evening, there’s nothing better than walking up our hill to watch the sun set over the valley. All this without leaving the farm.
All pitches are non-electric and prices start at £19 (low season) based on 2 people per pitch.
Choice of pitch
We have a good choice of pitches from sheltered spots to more exposed areas higher up the hill with great views. We don’t allocate a pitch, but let you decide exactly where you want to go based on the conditions (and how far you are willing to walk to the facilities!)
Back to basics
We might not be a sophisticated site, but we have everything to help you enjoy a rural setting in comfort
Toilets and shower
Our mobile toilet and shower truck features three separate flushing toilet cubicles plus a hot water shower. This is regularly cleaned and restocked throughout the day.
Say hello to the animals
You might see some of our sheep and cattle over the hedges in nearby fields, and sometimes in the field with you. Also say “hello” to our horse and ponies (but please do not feed any of the animals).
Facilities
Kitchen
We have a communal space for washing up, and a standpipe with mains water. You are welcome to use this as long as you leave them clean and ready for the next guests!
Toilets
As our site is spread out, your choice of camping spot might be a walk away from the toilet block

Within walking distance
Walking
Pick up the footpath or head into the forest. There are some brilliant walks near the farm
Dining
With a good pub in either direction, great food and booze are just a walk away
Drinking
Grab a drink from the local canal-side pub and watch the boats and walkers pass slowly by
Shopping
We’re in a rural setting, but still have good shopping options a short drive away
